Yeehaw, I planted some tomatoes today! And, I did my very first video for any newbies out there that don’t know how. That’s what I do in my spare time. For fun.

Atta girl. Spring is here in the desert. Let the tomatoes roll ! Haha
The tomatoes are rolling…and rolling. Hopefully I’ll be done soon! Tomorrow will be an all hands on deck day with the kids and we’ll get it all finished up.
Keith, I’m going to try the weave method with stakes and twine. It would cost a small fortune if I used cages this year since my husband threw out all of my cages last year because he didn’t think they would fit on the moving truck. He’s not a gardener and I wasn’t there when he did it.
Interesting, I’ve never seen the sideways technique before, although I have heard of burying them up to the lowest leaves. I’ll have to give this a try.
Do you not use tomato cages?
I like your blog! Thanks for sharing your transplanting video.
I tried your side ways method last weekend and the tomatoes are doing great! Thanks for the tip!
I would love to see your DIY cages!
