Seeds!

My seeds from Baker Creek arrived yesterday and I am so excited!  I love October in Phoenix!  I think it’s my most favorite month of all just because the mornings and evenings are cooling down and the end of summer is fading away.  (Yes, I know it’s supposed to be 105 today, but at least it will be cool in the morning!)

October begins my 9 month gardening season.  I know you can grow things all year round here, but I take July, August and September off because it’s just too dang hot and not worth my time during the hottest days of summer. So now it’s here and I am so ready!

I have not had my hands in the dirt since my last garden which was in Boulder, Colorado during the last part of May through August of 2011. That is way too long!
