Just in case any of you haven’t planted your garden yet (I am notorious for procrastinating and planting mine a couple of weeks later than I always plan on)…I will have some of my extra plants for sale tomorrow for $1 each on Saturday, February 21 at 10 am.
Tomatoes-Sun Gold, Super Sweet 100, Green Zebra, Ceylon, Brandywine, Carbon, Porter, Paul Robeson (about 25-30 total)
Peppers-Jalapeno, Yellow Bells (about 20 total)
Basil, Cilantro, Parsley (about 20)
So if any of you live near Tempe, email me and I will give the address… clm_sam@msn.com
Looks like a great crop at a great price! I just went to our local nursery yesterday. (darn) My seedlings didn’t make it.
Greetings,
I am interested in the peppers and basil-ere any still available. By any chance, are they organic/heirloom? I live in Tempe.
Thanks
Peter
Your plants look awesome!!
Hi,
I am definitely interested in your tomato, basil and peppers. I will be in Tempe on Saturday for the Heartwalk, will it be possible to stop by?
Thanks,
Michelle
So do you have any plants left?
Hello,
I work in Chandler and would love some of your tomato and pepper plants. I can come pick them up in Tempe. Please let me know if you have any still available. (I’m wanting to plant this saturday March 7th.)
Thanks!!
I have a question for you. It looks like you use plastic cups for your seedlings. I was trying the same thing. I think I over watered on a few. Do you poke holes in the bottom for drainage? I’m new to the whole gardening thing and I’m trying to do it on the cheap. I was just wondering. Thanks.

Keith,
I do use plastic cups. But, I start them out in seed trays and then transplant them into cups later. If you start them out in cups first, fill with only half dirt and then as the plants grow fill them up a little at a time with dirt. And yes, you definately need a few holes poked in the bottom.
