Well, I finally tried cutting into my other melon that grew. It was big, it was juicy and it was orange!
And it tasted good. It was the only good melon I got this year, but hey, it was an improvement from the last couple of years. The other 4 melons that looked like good melons rotted out on the vine. I think I’m going to give up planting melons in my backyard in the future, though…too much trouble, and too much water for not very much return.
