Yesterday, we extracted the tomatoes from the “jungle”.  It takes a little bit of perseverance, you know.  🙂  I never said it was easy to pick tomatoes in a jungle, I just said you’d get lots of them.  lol

Cary, my husband helped reach some of them because my arms weren’t long enough.

Whoa, honey, don’t fall in!

We’re a good tomato pickin’ team.  He just better not make me mad or I might let go.  🙂

Here’s some of the ‘maters we picked…

The oranges are Sun Golds, grape sized ones are Sugarys, salad sized reds are Bloody Butchers, salad sized pinks are Porters, the dark red, maroons are either Carbons or Paul Robesons (I had a mishap when I was moving the seedlings and spilled them so I don’t know which one is which…they are really good whatever they are) and then the really big lighter reds are Brandywines, my favorite.

Nathan is holding one of the Brandywines that we picked.  That’s the biggest tomato I’ve ever had growing in my garden before.  I feel like I need to name it or something…

Joshie couldn’t seem to keep the seeds from squirting out of his mouth; he thinks he’s too cute.
