I love your page! I am new to gardening and I find it very useful. I love the pics too. This is my first year planting anything, I started with 3 container tomato plants and just started eating the tomatoes a few days ago. My kids and I love them!
So glad I found a local gardeners site with pics and instructions, I am learning what veggies are good to plant in this heat! Next year I decided I am going to plant a real garden.
And to think..all this started with my daughters lima bean project at school.
Tee, I’m so glad that you were inspired to garden by a lima bean project!! Nothing beats a homegrown tomato. That is so neat. I am hooked on gardening as you can probably tell.
My dad peruses this site as well and has written some articles that are helpful. He has had backyard gardens here in Arizona for over 50 years so I am very grateful for all of his garden wisdom. His posts are listed under Farmer Darrell’s Tips. 🙂
Staci, I followed your lead and fried up some zucchini last night. Since I’ve got so many green tomatoes I fried up a couple of them also. The zucchini was very yummy, the fried green tomatoes I wasn’t thrilled with. I may have to try another recipe for the tomatoes. I’ve never had fried green tomatoes before and they have a very peculiar flavor. Surprisingly my husband liked them and he hates tomatoes!! Wonders never cease.
HELLO…!
My Oh My….What Great photos of the food you prepared!
It looks “good enough to eat”!!!!
