Look how green and lush everything is! Very inspiring.
hey is the second picture tomatoes? If so mine are catching up. Found a baaad green striped caterpillar/worm on my sweet 100 laying tiny black eggs on a leaf, gone out of there whew close call, guess it’s time again for a Pyrethrum treatment, diamataceous earth also just to be on the safe side.
Now I’m not too familiar with leaves yet, so is it squash/melon or what in the first shot, I’m sooooo jealous.
I bought 2 APS 24 systems, great deal on Ebay, anyway getting everything ready to start my Italian pepper/tomatoe seeds plus a couple of other items for August planting. Hubby is hooked wants to make sure just in case our current plants biff it. Our garden is out in the wide open no structures around to block the Monsoon torrential wind/rains.
I am jumping in with both feet with my need to try seeds especially with my Corno Di Torro Peppers, miss my Grand-Mothers so bad even trying a couple Giallo D’Asti and of course some Heirloom Tomatoes hubby’s choice. My Borther Vrian and Sister Terry plus a best friend will be getting seedlings as well.
Thanks for all of the inspiration you give.
I came back today to get your Summer Squash Soup with Basil and Parmesan as I have a few more pattypan squash than my husband will eat right now. I could eat steamed squash at every meal, but he doesn’t like it as much, but I do think he’ll love the soup!

Hi Janice, the plants that you see are mostly a Tigger melon, iti is growing about a foot and a half a day…egad! I bought the seeds online from Johnny’s Seed Catalog. It reminds me of the vine that grew into the house in the movie Jumungi.
It sounds like you are having fun with your garden, which is what it is all about and you are eating good stuff, much better than in the store.
Let us know how your peppers do!
